Everything a speaking course covers
Everything they teach, and the part they cannot.

Managing nerves, structure and openings, vocal delivery, body language, storytelling, handling Q and A, and virtual presenting are all inside the Signature Programme. The difference is that you do not watch a lecture and hand in a speech. You practise your real moments on camera, in live role play, and Mara coaches your actual voice and presence in the room.

Before you start

You already know
what the problem is.
This is where it changes.

Most people arrive here because something keeps happening in high-stakes moments that does not happen anywhere else. The voice changes. The mind goes blank. The words come out wrong. The person in the room is not the person they know themselves to be. That gap is not a personality flaw. It is a trainable pattern. Mara works on it directly.

The anxiety stops running the room

The physical pattern that fires before you speak, the tightening, the rushing, the voice that is not quite yours. That pattern is not fixed. It is a nervous system response and it changes through practice. Not through understanding it. Through practising from a different state.

You say what you actually mean

The gap between what you think and what comes out of your mouth. The softening, the over-qualifying, the version of the idea that arrives smaller than the one you had. That gap closes through specific repetition on your actual material. Not generic exercises. The real thing, at real pressure.

You take up the space you are supposed to take up

Presence is not a personality trait. It is a set of specific behaviours in the body and the voice that communicate authority before you have said a word. They are learnable. Every element of it can be trained, practised, and made automatic.

You hold your position when it matters most

Challenge triggers collapse rather than stability. That pattern has a root worth finding.. The question you were not expecting. The sceptical investor, the hostile room, the conversation you have been putting off. Mara runs those scenarios with increasing pressure until you stop losing your thread in them.

1
Find somewhere quiet and turn on your camera

You need 15 to 20 minutes, good lighting, and privacy. You will be speaking out loud. Watching yourself back is one of the most powerful parts of the process. Chrome gives the best experience.

Camera icon, top right. Allow access when prompted.
2
Choose your mode. Switch any time.

Three modes are available throughout every session using the buttons at the top.

P
Practice. Structured, scored, supportive. Start here if you are new.
C
Coaching. Intensive. Voice, body, full method. Mara will push you hard.
E
ESL Leaders. For professionals presenting in English as a second language.
You can switch mode mid-session at any time. Your session notes carry forward.
3
Tell Mara what you are actually preparing for

Not a generic scenario. The real one. The specific conversation, the pitch, the presentation you have been thinking about. The more specific you are, the more useful the session will be. Mara will ask. Answer honestly.

The sessions that shift things fastest are the ones run on real, imminent scenarios. Not practice material. The actual thing.
4
Present. Then watch yourself back.

Mara will ask you to present to camera. Do it out loud. As if the audience is real. When your run is done, watch the recording before Mara gives you any feedback. Mara will ask what you noticed first. Your answer matters. It is not a formality.

The gap between how you think you looked and how you actually look is exactly where the work lives. Most people are surprised. Both directions.
5
Do the reset between runs. Do not skip it.

Between practice runs, Mara will take you through a physical reset. The improvement in your next run does not come from trying harder. It comes from what happens in those few minutes. Trust it and do it properly.

6
Run it again. And again.

A single run shows you the pattern. The second run starts to change it. The third run is where it begins to feel different. Most sessions involve three or four runs with increasing pressure. Do not stop after one. The change you are looking for happens in the repetition.

7
Time Pressure Mode

Use the clock icon to run a timed session. 2 minutes for an elevator pitch drill, 5 or 10 for a focused run, up to 15 or custom. The countdown appears in the corner. Mara adapts to the constraint. Practising under real time pressure is one of the most effective things you can do.

Clock icon, top right. Set a countdown and practise under real constraint.
8
Come back before the real thing

The night before a high-stakes moment is not too late to practise. A single focused session can shift how you walk in. Your session history, scores, and recordings are all saved in your profile. Mara will reference your previous sessions when you return.

The people who improve fastest run the real scenario, not a practice version of it. Whatever is coming up this week, that is the session to run.

The same message, said six increasingly difficult ways.
One message carried up six rungs: read it, say it naturally, against a clock, after Mara cuts in, to five different audiences, then under real room pressure. Your English, your clarity and your state are scored separately on every rung, so you can see which one actually gave way. Most people find their English barely moves. Off the record · nothing leaves this room

A room that is only yours.

This is a coaching space to think out loud. Bring the conversation you are dreading, the decision you keep circling, or the thing you cannot say anywhere else. Talk it through with Mara, in confidence, and work out what to do.

Say it plainly.

Nothing here is recorded and nothing is stored as data. If you want to keep a piece of advice or the whole conversation, you can save it. Otherwise everything you say stays off the record.
Where do you want to begin?

Only you can access what you save here. Mara has no memory of Off the Record sessions outside this room. Nothing from this room appears anywhere else in the platform.

Every message, every highlight, every bookmark, gone. No archive. No recovery. This is the contract that makes the room work.

Sure?

Only you can access what you save here. Mara has no memory of Off the Record sessions outside this room. Nothing from this room appears in your dashboard scores, your anchors, or anywhere we or anyone at Session can read. This is the trust contract.
Breathing

Choose your pattern.

Two to twenty minutes. Warm up before a meeting. Take the edge off anxiety. Reset the nervous system between calls. Come back to clarity when you need to think.

No talking. No screen interaction. A gold ring expands and contracts at the chosen pace; you follow.
